



When your goal is weight loss motivation / fat-loss and you have to start laying down the proper foundation to be successful. What is it going to take for you to maintain the weight loss motivation to accomplish your goal?
The following is a key point, that if adopted will help you improve your weight loss motivation!!
Goal setting is a way that you can make a contract with yourself and provide you with the weight loss motivation to achieve the goal you set out for yourself.
• You must know specifically what you want to accomplish. If weight-loss is your goal then how much weight do you want to lose?
• How will you measure your weight-loss? Will you use a scale, measuring tape, body fat calipers, pictures etc? Measuring your progress will let you know you are on or off the right track. If you are moving towards your goal keep plugging. If you are not, look at your plan and make the adjustment to get you on track.
• Is the goal you set for yourself attainable and realistic? For example, if you want to lose one hundred pounds in two weeks that's not realistic! But if you want to lose 3 lbs. in one month that is realistic.
• Make your goal time bound. Set a date that you want to accomplish your weight loss goal. This will prevent procrastination and give you a sense of urgency to implement the weight-loss components necessary to accomplish your goal
